The city that my 90+ yo grandmother lived knocked on the door and said they were looking for multiple families living in her house she told them no one was living here but her. By the time they were done she had to remove the gas oven in her basement and stay over beds she had for us to visit.
She wouldn't let all of us visit in a group anymore. She was a nervous wreck about it for years and this probably didn't help her dementia that set in a few years later.
If she had followed your advice she would've lived longer.
And what if she did have other family members living with her in HER house, what business is it of theirs? And this was years ago? Making her remove her gas oven & extra beds? Wow they have been planning this shit for a long time. They start with the elderly because they are weaker and are afraid, if they did this to 60 yr olds or younger, they would be told to get off their property and door slammed in their faces.
But Puerto Ricans are US citizens, even 20 yrs ago. So again, I don't see what difference it makes if she or anyone had family living with them. Unless the people were actually illegal in our country. I mean it's not an ideal situation to have so many people (20) in one house but don't see how it is a crime. My husband is PR by the way, I've seen a little of the poverty in PR, but I'm sure not the worst of it. It's a hard life over there, it's the reason we never moved there. Good jobs are hard to come by even if you have education, it's getting like that here in the US also.

Yes. It was 20 years ago. Probably still didn't help with their target of reducing the number of illegal Puerto Ricans living 20 to a house.
