The people did everything they could. Protested in the tens of millions as loud as they could, demandeed, prayed, fasted, acted with such bravery that we looked like pussies in comparison. And in the end their military cucked and sold them out. Dante said that one of the deepest circles of hell is destined for the traitors of one's country. I hope he's right. But then again, I lost all faith that God would ever enact any kind of justice.
