Corporations weren't much of a thing until the late 1800's... Stocks were originally sold like dope on the corner. Wall Street had walls... A Corporation is Marxist, you collectively pool your money and let some CEO manage it with the carrot of only risking what you invested. The further you get from barter with your neighbor the more you get screwed. There is no free market, they manipulate everything. Why do they sell Fla. Oranges in Cal, and Cal. oranges in Fla. ? Its because they can cycle the product through their hands as many times as possible...
I don't know if corporations are Marxist in nature, but one thing is for sure: Both capitalism and communism in the end one way or another filter all the wealth to the top.
That's why I support true free market enterprise with regulations that level the playing field for everyone. Most regulations, laws, and taxes put into place are there for one reason and one reason only: to protect the most wealthy and powerful families.
Good points, that's why I said about bartering with your neighbor. You buy from a local grocer, he knows you by name. He won't stay in business long if he gives poor service or sells bad product, because there's another market down the street in the other direction.
A Corporation is Marxist, you collectively pool your money
I have been saying this for years, and people refuse to see it. Left or Right, their programming will not allow them to question their chosen -ism words. They'll also rail against government health care and turn around and buy private insurance which is exactly the same thing, just a question of who is holding the pot of money that is being dipped out of.
If socialism/marxism didn't work, there would be no McDonalds or Wal-Mart. One should ponder both aspects of this.
Many are lazy and want a quick buck. We should all work for ourselves and get there by saving up and starting a business. People feel smug when they happen to pick right and invest in what the elite want to go up.
I'm a conservative, but learned a lot working at a SNAP office in Fla. as a security guard. Yeah, basically everyone is cheating at least a little, but I don't care about them, children need to eat. If a child complained of being hungry I would go into the breakroom and get them a snack whether it was my food or a Social Worker's. I knew hunger a bit as a child.
Socialized medicine isn't any worse that what our capitalist medicine has become. I worked extensively at a hotel in Orlando's tourist area and whenever someone from almost every other western country got sick or injured they just went to the hospital without sweating that their bill would be astronomical and credit ruined. So at that time the USA ranked 34th in life expectancy and every single country living longer lives had socialized medicine. Its easy to point ut cases on both sides as examples, but this was national life expectancies.
I'm not into socialism, but I do think as the smartest animal that no child should go hungry and people should get medical care when needed. I don't know how to make that happen though.
My last trip through medical treatment was a broken finger, had hospital staff insurance, but didn't see a dr. I got a Nurse Practitioner, My Physical therapist had Certified on her card, but none of those degree signifiers. The hospital rate for non-insured would have been 215 per 15 min. So 860 an hour for someone certified...
Time before that, broke my collarbone and face. A few Xrays, Ct Scan (2000), and Ambulance (1000) Hospital charge 10,500... No treatment.
You get an MRI at one place and its 1,000, at another its 10,000 That's not capitalism, they have us well trained to go where the Dr. tells us to go, often he is part owner.
