Key points
Prigozhin and Gen. Sergei Surovikin have not been heard from publicly since last weekend.
Belarus says Prigozhin is in exile in Belarus, but nobody has confirmed this.
Russia doesn't seem to prosecuting Wagner troops.
The US said Surovikin knew about the rebellion early. Russia has not commented
CIA told Russia it wasn't them.
A Prigozhin news site is blocked within Russia
The Kremlin is taking control of Wagner forces in Syria and Africa.
Russia is making Wagner troops sign contracts Defense Ministry, putting them under the control of the regular Russian military. (This was supposedly the reason Prigozhin acted.)
Lukashenko has offered Wagner troops use of an unused military base. The NY Times says Satellite imaegery showed 250 tents that could hold thousands of troops were just installed there.
Zelenskyy is moving troops to the Northern Border with Belarus.
June 26th seems to be the last time we heard from Prigozhin.
If we aren't hearing about it anymore then the situation ended up benefiting Russia.
Ukranian Intel is saying the FSB is trying to assasinate Prigozhin.
So who knows what is going on.
This headline seems apt.
Fallout from Prigozhin rebellion still unclear
I'm trying to find anything on Prighozin. I wouldn't say I'm "accepting" this. I'm noting this because it's useful as a marker. Which of this will turn out to be so.
For example, when do you think the next time we see Prighozin in public will be? A week? A month? I have no idea, but I'm curious.
This is supposedly the new structures being built in Belarus for Wagner troops. https://twitter.com/officejjsmart/status/1674861604842659860?s=20
What Russian media is saying
The Russian state TV channels report that Wagner received more than $ 10 billion over the 7 years, atop of another $10 billion that Prigozhin's company Concord received for food procurement.
I read (I think on RT) that Wagner troops have rejoined Russian military in Belarus on Ukraine northern border
Probably “coup” was a ruse to get those troops close to Kiev. Looking at a map Kiev is much closer to Belarus. At some point they will attack kiev from there.
Reports are the Ministry of Defense in Russia has broken the contract with Prighozin's company Concord that supplied the Russian military with Food. (Original source of Prighozin's wealth. He was nicknamed Putin's chef.
Prighozin is as the Brits would say. YESTERDAY,s fish and chip newspaper wrappings.
The Guardian says
Fox is quoting the Moscow Times, saying following his sites being blocked, Prigozhin has shut his media companies down completely.
"Moscow times"
According to Jack Posobiec, responding to Prigozhin on Twitter, Prigozhin is in France. I presume “assisting” but for whom?
There's no way he is France
