My father was in the Korean War. He served 21+ years and was gone a good portion of my life when I was young. He never talked about the military other than he was in the Air Force and was a ground power mechanic, anything it takes to keep the planes, equipment running. He said being in the military ruined his life, he even sent his medals back to Washington. He loved America and instilled the respect the military taught him to us, yes sir, yes mam, No BS in our house. I could never understand that he told me to keep my boys from going into the service? Now that I'm elderly and can see the elite uses war for their own agendas. Could my Dad of seen it too.?
Most likely he knew. I figured it out when I was ten, or thereabouts. Started questioning why everything was always so messed up. That is why I am so happy now that all this bs is coming to an end! NCSWIC
Thanks , God Bless You.
Thanks for your service and your reply. I've spent years trying to wrap my head around my Dad feeling it ruined his life, but he stayed in the Military? Loyalty and love for your country goes a long way. God Bless You, Sir.
