Yes, the report of tanks in the steets was from 28th of June - Nahel Merzouk, was killed on the 27th, but the unrest hadn't boiled over yet, certainly not all the way to Lausanne or Zurich... So something else is going on.
I do not think so... Switzerland is really slow in reacting to stuff. I lived there for 30+ yrs I think its more like the usual games of showing that the "Swiss Army" has any worth in existing. (I served there) the only positive thing I can say about the Swiss Army is: If Switzerland is under severe pressure due War or turmoils in the neighbouring Countries, they will, and can mobilize instantly at the borders. (Wich is not even close to Zurich.)
Anybody speaks this language? What is it. German? What is he saying?
"German Guy in Switzerland, saying: over 20 thanks passed already, you wont tell me thats just a manouver, its close to Zurich Airport." My opinion: It has nothing to do with the turmoils in France. too far away. UPDATE: This was Monday evening 26 of June 2023. Military announced transfer of Tanks on monday and the next few days.
