Demoralization.Trying to take the honor.Same reason they tried to bury non veteran politicians in Arlington.Make units less cohesive.Destroy the machismo and brotherhood that often carries a soldier through the tougher times.I would not take orders from a faggot,period.

I think that's part of it but I think the bigger reason is this: The leadership are all political appointees (Sec Def, CJC) and those people are doing what keeps their bosses happy. Those that are serving give up some of their Constitutional rights and are under the rule of the UCMJ and it creates a situation where they only have 2 choices: 1) Shut up and go with the flow or 2) Leave. The left abuse that to try to force the changes they want to see the rest of society adopt.
