Hmmm. OK. That's a bit more context.

I think your frustration is understandable, but don't let it get you down. It will take generational change for the broad mainstream to catch up. Apparently only 5% of 'Americans' actually participated in the war of independence.

We are pioneers, trail blazers, and all that is required is that our numbers grow enough to tip the scales, and that is what is happening.
