So you come full circle that social media has its' place with some redeeming qualities and I believe that is a valid argument...but I think the point of the graphic is that we can't let social media take the place of human to human contact and the joy of humans being together...I see an awful lot of zombies hooked to phones/IPads etc...THAT is the danger that needs to be avoided...AND we know that there is addiction that is incorporated in the tools used to utilize social media...
You don't have to go to social media for music. There is something called Usenet newsgroups. It's a part of the internet that came before WWW and web pages. There are tens of thousands of groups where people post files that you can download. I have over a million MP3 files and hundreds of thousands of book that I've downloaded from there. You can find obscure records from all the way back to the 1880s all the way to the latest music. You can also find home recordings and newer stuff put on by individuals. The books I have are mostly non-fiction, and many are considered subversive and are unavailable anywhere else.
