I've learned that some people just can't handle this stuff, and maybe they aren't meant to. Not everyone is cut out for war. I know my husband has more of a limit than I do, as does my mom. Both are very empathetic, sweet souls. I think it just hits some people harder, or people like us are made for this moment.
Tell her that you understand that she isn't enthusiastic about seeing an upsetting film but if she goes you will gladly go to any film she wants to see in the future.
If she enjoy the trailer just go watch it, basically the trailers show the whole movie, no big surprise … everything else is just emotion fillers, most not even scripted … it is PG13, so no need hesitation
But if someone was victims and has wild imagination, just understand the trailer is enough, no need to force them to see.
Not everyone r meant to see the truths, the more u know, the more responsibilities…
It is a tough sell, because normies desperately want it to NOT be true.
If their minds have any want to refute your version, they will jump and latch onto any narrative that proves you wrong.
Not because they don't trust you. They are protecting their world.

My advice:
Tell her that you understand that she isn't enthusiastic about seeing an upsetting film but if she goes you will gladly go to any film she wants to see in the future.
My advice is not to make oaths, and that's because the boss man said so.
Matthew 5:33-37
33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:
34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
