I really have to wonder how much of this "new" issue is natural.
Yeah, it comes from plastics, which come from chemical reactions when processing the crude to make it. You mean to tell me the same planet that can crush coal to diamonds can't create these too, and that it's all human's fault?
As usual I don't hold us blameless, but do keep a certain amount of skepticism.
We've know tap water has been bad for humans for a long time. If chlorine and fluoride kill bacteria in water, it's killing your good bacteria in your gut. Also all the crap in the ground water and pipes leached into your drink. It's common sense to filter your water. I only drink my RO water when I can
Yes, these chloramines do damage to commercial stainless steel cooking equipment and dishwashers. need to add phosphates to the water supply and fitlers to help reduce the chloramine damage to the water boilers. Chloramine is bad stuff.
YA GOTTA BE AFRAID OF THIS NEW INVISIBLE THING
ALWAYS it's invisible - global warming, racism, threat to our democraceh, virus, xenophobia, misogyny, sexism, white supremaceh, privilege, carbon dioxide, etc., etc.
ALWAYS a new buzzword - this time "forever chemicals"
When will the normies wake the fuck up

Well, the thing is they don't even use chlorine, and haven't for a long time, at least in major cities.
The use a compound called "chloramine," which itself leads to nasty results.
