I feel your pain. Can lead a horse to water…

I’m dealing with the same thing with my mother and her cancer. Chemo isn’t working and I’m urging her to stop. Get called a “conspiracy theorist” quite often for calling out how much money the hospital is making off her case. It’s painful.
