Jesus did not live according to the law! He broke a lot of the laws of the Pharisees and Sadducees. That’s why they were trying to trick him up all the time.
He worked on the Sabbath, he healed on the Sabbath, every time they could, they would try to trick him up with one of their laws. That’s why they hated so much.
You and I have different points of view on how we live our lives, and you can stand on your Bible and I can stand on my main screen to the rooftop.
She just came to set the captives free. Try to be one of those… Free people.
I’m done having a conversation with you regarding this topic. God bless you and have a great day.
He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer shall be abomination. Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, He shall fall himself into his own pit: But the upright shall have good things in possession.
I would say that none of us are perfect, and that’s why Jesus came. If we were able to live by the law, he would not have had to come. But he knows that’s not true. That’s why he sent his son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to die for our sins once and for all. We have freedom in Christ!
There’s no way that any one person can live a sinless life, once again, that’s why Jesus was sent. Because he was SINLESS he is the propitiation for our sins. I am grateful.
I’ll be 60 this year, and I have at least another 20 years on this planet I guarantee you, before I die I will sin. I’m probably going to sin every day. Because even our thoughts, are considered sinful. We are sinners. That’s why we need a savior.
So, even if… Having a tattoo is a sin, well, guess what I’ve been forgiven for that sin by Jesus Christ. So I either accept that Jesus is sacrifice is enough for me, or I become a Pharisee in a Sadducee, and go find a place to scrub this filth off of me. That’s what they used to do before Christ. Cleanse themselves - over, over, and over again. We don’t need to do that anymore. Jesus cleanses us ONCE AND FOR ALL.
I just find it so mind blowing that people still to this day - think that they can work their way to heaven. People are so arrogant, they think they can add to what CHRIST DID ON THE CROSS! Can you imagine thinking any of your best works, which, if we want to start using God’s word to support everything, - says that our best works are as dirty filthy rags. Meaning… Menstrual rags.
So if people want to start standing on their works, just remember what God said about that, too! So grab up your menstrual rags, and start waving them around. So people think you’re good, so you can feel worthy.
I think it’s one of the most difficult lessons to learn in Christ. That once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, IN HIM… You are free indeed. True freedom is embracing and knowing that his sacrifice is enough for everything you do. Always.
“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,”
II Corinthians 3:5 NKJV

Anything we do, in every way possible in life, it’s all from God. Give him the glory!
So anybody on this forum, that wants to split hairs regarding tattoos, because you don’t have any… Take your filthy menstrual rags and wave them around, so everybody knows what a good person you are. Yay.
Jesus doesn’t need to cover that sin, because you’ve got it covered, right?
You’re basically claiming you’re better than Jesus. Yikes.
17 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill"
18 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
19 "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
20 "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven". -- Matt. 5: 17-20 17
Surely you aren't saying you follow all 600+ laws perfectly. U can teach the law without coming off as you are above others. God's grace is what we should seek. We should seek to guide people to Jesus. Once they accept him and seek forgiveness. They are washed clean
Romans 3:19–20
Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God. For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin
U keep only telling half the story in an attempt to make yourself seem right..this is why you come off judging. Works don't get you into heaven

Yes I personally think it's a balance of the 2. We are free in Christ yet that freedom leads to us seeking to follow what the bible says.
