I saw it today and there was one part that got a laugh from the audience, the diner scene when the pedo got double crossed. But yeah no way would anyone have been able to purposely laugh at the child abuse scenes without getting their asses kicked. I heard grown men crying at certain parts. Not faggy soy boys either, but real men.
In my case, no one was laughing, it was very intense and scary specially when Jim C/Tim Ballard went in the search of the little sister”s brother in the dense jungle of Colombia.
Yeah. We saw it late Friday night and there were about 50 in the theater. It was quiet the whole time and no one left before the special message by Jim Caviezel. Everyone left silently. The movie was very moving. We prayed when we got in our vehicle for what action God wants us to take.

I believe he has a plan for all of us. God bless.
