As I understand it, it was a bigger operation than just the one island. The total number of victims was bigger than 54. However, the number rescued on the island included both adult slave and minor sex slaves.
The story is true - I'm not criticizing this excellent movie. They don't have the screen time to get off message with all these details.
Angel Studios does great work!
While my wife cried tears of sadness, I cried tears of anger. I swear I almost cracked a molar as I watched it. As a former military man and cop, I understand how to keep emotions under control. Watching this movie, I kept asking myself if I would have the strength not to become death itself and how God would judge me for it if I did.
I love our tactics, release then let them attack, attack and attack, then bring the sauce and let them drown in it in front of everyone to see.
