Interesting - her district in Atlanta extends from what we call part of Midtown - new condos surrounding Ikea, hotels, and some businesses - then southwest to some of the poor areas of Atlanta.
Her constituents likely include mostly white liberals, and blacks in this area who by tradition vote DimoCrat (don't get all huffy, just pointing out what's a general observation, not trying to put down any race here).
Given that she probably had a real change of heart. The proof will be in how she votes on legislation in the future.
Just watch closely what them do.
