This thread does a tremendous disservice to an amazing medical technology. This thread is full of innuendo, lack of facts, lack of understanding of the technology, etc., etc. This is more than just sad, it goes against what this board should accomplish for everyone here. The truth.
It is impossible to extract a meaningful amount of adrenochrome from cultured stem cells, even if they were somehow cultivated as brain cells or other cells (in a petrie dish?) that produce the chemical. That's simply not how it is done. I won't go into specifics.
Nor are anonymous stem cells safely used for treatment, nor would a legitimate physician use them as a treatment. The medical technology has progressed way beyond umbilical stem cells at this point. They are inferior. Stem cells are extracted from the same patient they are used in. In some cases, if the patient can't provide enough stem cells on his own, they are amplified in a lab before being re-injected. There is nothing demonic about this. Period.
Fully 70% of orthopedic surgeries done here in the U.S. are done so needlessly! Stem cells, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and platelet lysate, have been used successfully as treatments since 2005. What this thread does is demonize something that is truly remarkable and helpful, and fill it full of misunderstanding and doubt. So many people could find treatment if they knew about this technology, or didn't avoid investigating it because they thought it was evil.
Extracting stem cells from aborted foetus' is pretty damn demonic, when you think about it.
Any 'medicine' that is built upon an industry of extracting cells from aborted foetuses is probably not the best pathway to go down as a society.
When this technology was used more extensively in Central and South America, they had a certification process for the mothers before the children were delivered. The cellular material was NOT derived from abortions. It was from live births. The mothers had to be certified that they were free from disease, drugs, or with a possible history of DNA issues.
But you can see the problem with this. It is idiotic to inject a donor's DNA material (that can take on different cell types inside your body) into a patient's. Incredibly risky. This is why a patient's own stem cells is now the standard used.
It must be terrible to go through life as negative as you seem to be. There are good people out there...including some doctors...all you have to do is look for them.
