Why on earth would anyone want eternal life on this plane?

I'm not saying I want to die early. I've definitely still got more to learn. But I will be quite content, possibly even grateful, when my journey in this life is over and I can get back home.

I just find it baffling that anyone would yearn to stay here forever and give up the rewards that come from leaving this all behind. It's like struggling to remain a slave when the plantation owner is telling you you're free to go.

Fear is truly a horrible thing.
