They came out a week early with Grusch because Greer came out the following week with 6 more whistleblowers proving Alien Tech reproduction and they were getting ahead of the story. The difference between what Greer is saying and the story the deep state is going to try and sell is that Greer knows the Aliens aren't hostile. The deep state can't sell fear if people know they aren't hostile so the Deep state is forced into action right now before this all becomes common knowledge.
