wonder if they want to get Mars ready for us? that would be one way for them to get rid of us. i can't imagine the elite wanting to live on Mars. there is something more to this.

I think Elon wants to go to Mars. He believes he is living in a simulation, so I think he just wants to experience the coolest stuff that he can.
