We are not necessarily "asleep". The tradition of York Rite Freemasony particularly celebrates much of the Bible we all know and love. Look at it this way. The United States Of America, the Constitutional Republic, was high -jacked by traitorous and evil people. The same can be said of most other nations, institutions and even corporations (Project Veritas is a modern example.) It's no different with Freemasonry.
