She cites an article published in 2020 which indicates white physicians delivering black children doubles the infant mortality rate.

This is consistent with at least one other study done at Stanford in the 1990's, but those links look like they've been wiped from the internet. The fact the medical profession looks away from the damage physicians have been doing to the black community for many decades is heartbreaking.

Her logic and reasoning using this argument is wrong-headed when it comes to affirmative action, but the facts are essentially correct. The solution is not applying affirmative action in admissions. The solution is looking at the behaviors of physicians within the field that are directly resulting in the increase in infant deaths.

After this ruling, Brown was forced to submit a correction and this Fox article describes her initial statement was faulty. This matter has been long overlooked by medicine, and God forbid they acknowledge there are gaps and problems in care. Doctors continue to look away. Shameful.
