Wanting to be an actor is hardly a red flag about someone. I can't count how many I've known from working in Hllywood. Mel Gibson and Jim Caviezel are actors. I would say it enabled them to do what they are doing today, just like Tim Ballard. It's largely about who you know, when you have projects that must get done.
