Bible scholars agree that the Daniel 2300 morning and evening prophecy is actually talking about a period of 1150 days. A simple Google search would confirm this claim.
Daniel 8:13-14 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
The word sacrifice in verse 13 wasn't in the original text, it was added by the writers of the king James version.
The daily being taken away in the strong's concordance is defined as continuity . Here's an example of the same word being used in Ezekiel. substantive:
a. of uninterrupted continuity, ׳אַנְשֵׁי ת Ezekiel 39:14 men of continuity, i.e. men continually employed for the purpose; ׳לֶחֶם הַתּ Numbers 4:7 the bread of continuity, i.e. the bread that is always there, so ׳מַעֲרֶכֶת ת2Chron 2:3, and perhaps ׳חֲצֹצְרוֺת ת 1 Chronicles 16:6.
So the understanding is this. The daily work or employment of the world was taken away on March 11,2020 by the decree of the global pandemic. The beginning stages of the abomination called a vaccine was implemented from the same decree and as a result God's people (his sanctuary) was trodden underfoot or deceived into destroying the temple in which God dwells.
Here's what is the jaw dropping revelation. Exactly 1150 days from the decree (3/11/20) was it announced through the W.H.O. that the global pandemic was over (5/5/23).
The understanding is that this was God's promise of shortening those days of tribulation, otherwise there wouldn't be any flesh left to save.
Just to reenforce the significance of the May 5, 2023 end date of the 1150 days. It was fulfilled during a blood moon which happened to be the second Passover. The bible tells us the purpose of the second Passover was for those who were away on a long journey or who had touched a dead body and couldn't attend the first one. Which brings to mind the parable of the man on a long journey that Jesus spoke of.
Now I know most maybe even all professing Christians will not agree with this revelation. Many with their carnal understanding and doctrines will deny this amazing revelation. They will hold on to the belief that x,y and z still need to happen before they can agree on The Day Of The Lord timing.
I hope and pray that you take this to the Lord and seek a confirmation on this. His Holy Spirit will guide and teach in all truth. I pray that the true body of Christ will share this revelation with the brethren. For I'm of the belief that The Day Of The Lord is at hand. Perhaps He will put the sense of urgency on your heart, that you may warn others and help bring in the harvest.
May God have mercy on us all. God bless brothers and sisters.
I'm sorry I have to disagree here.
Sacrifice happened at the temple. The temple was destroyed in 70 AD. Right within the same generation that Jesus said it would.
The tribulation was the period of time of Rome surrounding Jerusalem and laying siege to it and completely destroying it. This is clear when we look at history and especially secular accounts like the histories of Josephus as it lines up with scripture.
This is what Christian's historically understood and believed until premillennial dispensationalism became popular with the publication of the Schofield reference Bible. That was the first study Bible with footnotes and it was widely adopted and unfortunately it taught a very obscure eschatological position that was virtually unheard of before then.
"Abomination of desolation surrounding the holiest of holies" was Rome's armies surrounding the temple. You don't have a holiest of holies anymore. You don't have a temple. You don't have an altar. And you never will. Jesus is our temple now. The old system simply pointed to him. When Jesus died on the cross the veil in the temple that only priests could go behind too offer the sacrifice to atone for our sins was torn in half by God symbolizing the end of the separation between God and us as the holy Spirit now dwells within us.
(You should be noted that Christians at that time when they saw Rome surround the city knew exactly what this first meant and Rome had to leave for a few days for some unknown reason and the Christians fled to the mountains just a scripture instructed them. By doing so they're the only people that survived)
666 was a low key way of saying Nero Caesar which when written in Hebrew letters, which are also numbers, made 666. And he was indeed a beast by all accounts and he took great joy in persecuting and murdering Christians. If you were to write that down or preach that back then without obscuring it you would be executed.
The seven-headed ten horned beast is further proof of this. The seven heads of the beast are described in Revelation as representing seven hills. Rome was built on seven hills and it had 10 governors. This was strikingly clear to a Jew in that time.
Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father making all of his enemies his footstool. That's God's favorite Bible verse and it appears more times in scripture than any other.
God said to Jesus ask of me and I will give all the nations as your inheritance. Do you really think that Jesus forgot to ask?
Jesus is reigning Right now putting all of his enemies under his feet.
Just like when Adam and Eve took something off of a tree and sin entered the world, in some ways immediate and in other ways gradually decay.... When Jesus, the perfect Adam, was put up on a tree (the cross), The Gospel entered the world and is spreading.
However if you believe you're going to be raptured away at any point and everything on Earth is going to be destroyed are you going to think and plan and build for your great great grandchildren? No one polishes brass on a sinking ship.
In my opinion premillennial dispensationalism or the belief in the rapture is the greatest lie the devil ever interjected into the church. It is absolutely neutered the modern Evangelical Church.
Here's a playlist of some sermons, discussions, and debates on the three main eschatological positions of the end times. These are not some random YouTube cooks, these are very well respected and well known theologians, professors, and pastors. I would encourage you to at least get a better understanding of the three different primary viewpoints and where they came about in history. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLm4vxYfDpoYaWjqK76eZukIyKtyX5Xa-J
Thank your Brother. I believe we are in the "little season."
Thank you. The mental gymnastics of those convinced Revelation is a book for today never ceases to amaze me. There has not been a generation since the Enlightenment who were not convinced they were living through what the Revelator saw. Seems pretty stupid to make a prophecy about something 2000 years in the future. Just speaks to the lack of faith people have in what the New Testament actually teaches them about themselves: that they’re children of God who can commune with God directly and do miracles in his name if they have enough faith.
So NOT an evangelical?
