Bible scholars agree that the Daniel 2300 morning and evening prophecy is actually talking about a period of 1150 days. A simple Google search would confirm this claim.
Daniel 8:13-14 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
The word sacrifice in verse 13 wasn't in the original text, it was added by the writers of the king James version.
The daily being taken away in the strong's concordance is defined as continuity . Here's an example of the same word being used in Ezekiel. substantive:
a. of uninterrupted continuity, ׳אַנְשֵׁי ת Ezekiel 39:14 men of continuity, i.e. men continually employed for the purpose; ׳לֶחֶם הַתּ Numbers 4:7 the bread of continuity, i.e. the bread that is always there, so ׳מַעֲרֶכֶת ת2Chron 2:3, and perhaps ׳חֲצֹצְרוֺת ת 1 Chronicles 16:6.
So the understanding is this. The daily work or employment of the world was taken away on March 11,2020 by the decree of the global pandemic. The beginning stages of the abomination called a vaccine was implemented from the same decree and as a result God's people (his sanctuary) was trodden underfoot or deceived into destroying the temple in which God dwells.
Here's what is the jaw dropping revelation. Exactly 1150 days from the decree (3/11/20) was it announced through the W.H.O. that the global pandemic was over (5/5/23).
The understanding is that this was God's promise of shortening those days of tribulation, otherwise there wouldn't be any flesh left to save.
Just to reenforce the significance of the May 5, 2023 end date of the 1150 days. It was fulfilled during a blood moon which happened to be the second Passover. The bible tells us the purpose of the second Passover was for those who were away on a long journey or who had touched a dead body and couldn't attend the first one. Which brings to mind the parable of the man on a long journey that Jesus spoke of.
Now I know most maybe even all professing Christians will not agree with this revelation. Many with their carnal understanding and doctrines will deny this amazing revelation. They will hold on to the belief that x,y and z still need to happen before they can agree on The Day Of The Lord timing.
I hope and pray that you take this to the Lord and seek a confirmation on this. His Holy Spirit will guide and teach in all truth. I pray that the true body of Christ will share this revelation with the brethren. For I'm of the belief that The Day Of The Lord is at hand. Perhaps He will put the sense of urgency on your heart, that you may warn others and help bring in the harvest.
May God have mercy on us all. God bless brothers and sisters.
You are correct.
In the majority of English translations, the word "sacrifice" is added for clarification in Daniel 8:13. While it is not present in the original Hebrew text, translators often include it to help readers understand the context and refer to the daily sacrificial system of the ancient Israelite sanctuary.
While not an exhaustive list, these translations illustrate the common practice of adding the word "sacrifice" to help readers understand the intended meaning of the passage.
The original writers and readers of the ancient text AND the translators knew the word in question was referring to the sacrifices in the Temple. Therefore, for us modern readers, the word was added for clarity.
What is your argument or basis for not utilizing the translators wisdom regarding the additional clarification and running with your own version of what "tamiyd" is referring to?
Well if you read the entire chapter in full context you will see that the sanctuary and host that are trodden under foot and destroyed are explained further by Gabriel the angel.
If you follow the timeline of his interpretation you'll get to the timeframe that matches up with Daniels sequence of events from his vision.
Daniel 8:24. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
God's Holy Spirit showed quite awhile ago that the sanctuary that is destroyed is not a temple but the people. God believing people to be specific.
Once that realization is made then you realize the daily is referring something other than animal sacrifice on a altar.
Wow, how did ALL those translators miss this after all these 1000's of years!?!?!
You should seriously write all the main translations and let them know they've been wrong all these years.
Just because you think something has "been revealed to you" does not make what you say accurate or true.
Just doing my 1 John 4:1 duty of testing the spirits.
Show me one place in Gabriel's interpretation of Daniels vision, where he mentions a temple or sacrifices on a alter. I'll wait......
You need to show why major translators were all wrong in their translating of Daniel 8:13 all these years.
Your entire hermeneutic on this passage hangs on this hook.
