As a kid hearing about the Bob Crane murder i just assumed he was jilting a friend or something and thats why it went bad.
Now i wonder if he wasnt a bigger Hollywood blackmail provider who got whacked bc of what he knew/saw.

I was a big Hogans Heroes fan. Not old enough to remember the first run but in the 70s it was on lots of reruns. I remember the allegations when he died though. I was about 13 I think and the rumors of him being sex crazed kinda sticks out in a boy that age mind. The rumors though kinda fit right in with what we are realizing now. I couldnt tell you if he was a good guy or bad.
