Now comes Wednesday’s testimony by two IRS whistleblowers, who say their attempt to investigate Hunter faced unprecedented meddling.
The two IRS agents are Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler. Two months back, each had spoken behind closed doors to the House Ways and Means Committee, but Wednesday was their first in the spotlight and the first time that Mr. Ziegler’s name was released.
They say the Justice Department interfered in their investigation...
They were backed up by a new FBI whistleblower, a former supervisory special agent assigned to the Biden investigation. According to the House Oversight Committee, the FBI agent confirmed Monday that on the day he and Mr. Shapley planned to interview Hunter, agents were told not to approach him and instead to wait for Hunter to call them. The interview never happened...
The IRS and FBI agents who investigated Hunter are saying live on C-Span that they were prevented from getting evidence. The allegations are becoming more specific as the number of witnesses backing them up grows. If Mr. Garland and Mr. Weiss want to persuade America they’re telling the truth, they ought to go before Congress and do what the two IRS agents have now done: answer questions under oath."
For the "gun charge" it's black letter law that he perpetrated a felony. He lied on his 4473 form. It's as simple as that.
For maximum Clown World enjoyment, it seems that his attorneys might have argued (or be planning to argue) that the form violates the 2nd Amendment (it does) and so is therefore unConstitutional and the charge should be thrown out. Amazing. I now might find myself on the same side of an issue as Hunter Biden. Never thought that would happen.
Also, Hunter's niece/girlfriend/fuckbuddy throwing his gun into a dumpster within 1000 feet of a school is another serious crime, and so far I don't think anyone has been charged for that.
I've also seen videos of him walking around naked in a hotel room with prozzies present holding the gun and, iirc, with his finger on the trigger. Probably not a crime per se, but clearly an endangerment of people.
To your point about the plea deal… The cocaine in the White House would violate Hunter's pre-trial diversion and he would do jail time for the gun charges. I think I read somewhere the charges carried about 10 years. That's why they closed the investigation into the cocaine without finding it to belong to Hunter.
