Thank you for sharing this icon of Tertullian and Tertullians iconic words, OP.
Please keep allowing God to work with you and through you since human icons have always been the most powerful icons; icons that make God present and make His miracles possible which we definitely need right now.
"Off topic" topics can be the best topics imo. As an homage to you, I will be "off topic" too.
I'm named after a girl who was my moms favorite student; a student she met while teaching and waiting for my dad to return from a war. She vowed that if he did return, shed name her first daughter Cozette.
That daughter was moi; the first daughter and first born.
My moms student, Cozette, was named after a French nurse who helped her father heal after being terribly injured in an earlier war. While he tried to recover, he vowed that if he did manage to return home, he would name his first daughter Cozette in honor of the French nurse that saved his life.
Much later I learned about Les Miserables Cosette.
I'm definitely a Z Cozette rather than an S Cosette.
Never mind... apparently I overestimated (my skills and knowledge most likely) something. I'll figure out some other method I suppose... if I get to it now . If not I will probably forget. That's my story. I'll stick to it until I come up with a better one... sounds sort of "political" huh.

Thanks for sharing the lovely story! Consider yourself one of my protegees and have a hug and flowers!๐ค๐
Perhaps I will. Meanwhile, consider yourself one of mine.
Or don't. ๐
Either way, I'm pleased you enjoyed the story since I rarely tell it.
May I ask you which war your father was engaged in?
Offering a verb tense trifecta:
You already did ask. ๐
Now, why did you ask and why should I grant your request?
Answers forthcoming?
Just chitchatting. Have a blessed day.๐๐ป
