its a bobs burgers quote, don't take me too seriously. i find mods a bit trigger happy with the censorship. i get there's a lot of handshake crap to remove.... but if there's an issue with an old users post, it should be opened to discussion instead of immediately censored. you never know when you might be stopping important info from getting to those who need to see it.
but seriously, this place is great and despite my occasional frustrations, i don't wanna upset whatever magic is holding it together.

And this is how it is meant to be. I've been in the Online Community game for getting to the closer side of 3 decades now. Been part of MANY good online communities. The ones that really work is where it is driven by the community, where the members of the community are engaged and actively take a self-annointed role in contributing and even soft-running the place.
In other words the true spirit of self-governance, the same one that is needed in any community, or state, or nation that does not wish to get gobbled up by corrupting interlopers who infiltrate, dominate and develop tyranny.
That said, a mod team that is not conducive to this is a massive obstacle. In our case, it's a brilliant 5% modding that really brings out the great 95% anoning.
A really strong, healthy functioning 100%.

We are already seeing the difference it has been making, each and everyone of us have seen where the people around us were 3 years ago, and where they are today.
