sensory friendly are buzzwords in the special ed community; means they’ve eliminated anything that might be overstimulating; lighting, loud music, etc. similar to safe spaces…for people who can’t function in a regular environment. I would imagine it’s much like shopping at WM early in the morning on a weekday; different kind of crowd/ambience; much calmer
