For those not familiar with Israel's swamp, according to Gidi Weitz:

This week, Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara warned against pressure applied on gatekeepers so they take biased or corrupt decisions. “Voiding the reasonableness clause would critically damage the government’s immune system,” she said.

The truth is that reasonableness is long departed, with a criminally accused prime minister [Benjamin Netanyahu] supported by the folly of the legislature and sanctified by the Supreme Court. That was the original sin.
