This is a good sign, VA requiring hotel staff to take human trafficking training every two years. Calling it a win! 🤗

In Largo, FL, a buffet restaurant in Largo was part of a Largo home sting. A woman going through the buffet line was the tipoff, as they were getting ready for a few home raids nearby.
A woman working behind the counter, mouthed the words, HELP ME and looked away. The customer called 911 as soon as she sat down! Many in there forced to work. So do look at tired people working in food places...look at them, smile and keep looking. They will try to get help if the opportunity arises. Here is the first story. https://www.theledger.com/story/news/2010/12/09/human-trafficking-suspected-after-fbi-raids-in-largo-and-clearwater/26404670007/
Wow - definitely changes the way you think!
Would like to see if this is public access training or just for the hotels that pay to get it. I don't know much about the signs - would definitely watch the program. I searched, nothing is in place yet.
This is common training at hotels
There are videos of covered over tunnel entrances in the closets of big hotels. And apparently, big hotel chains have been in legal trouble for participating in human trafficking. If someone had told me this 20 years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it.
