Yes I remember we shared about this...my father in law's family were Croatian from Yugoslavia...all our grandparents immigrated from Europe in the very early 1900's...the community I grew up in was VERY Polish/Slovak with quite a few Croatians and Serbians...Polish weddings are wonderful...lots of rich heritage here and genuinely hard working, salt of the earth people....☺️...
My dad's family was Polish, so lots of those weddings in my childhood. All I can say is, God bless polkas and stuffed cabbage!
And pierogis...Dzien dobry...
Pierogies were good, but I leaned more to the cabbage. I couldn't wait for all the Kolaczki on the dessert table! Come Lent, I live for Pączki...😋
You have a good morning yourself, tweety!
Oh yeah...we loved the roshkis....and nutrolls....the Polish can cook/bake that's for sure....you would NEVER starve...and buttery cabbage and noodles can't be beat...with a side of Kielbasa...yummy...off to hear the oompah/accordian...
