It’s only absurd because you want there to be more out there. Everything that IS included in the Bible speaks to nothing of another creation of beings in a far off galaxy. In fact, we know a great deal about the earth, creation, celestial beings, heavenly realms, the history of all things, the purpose of all things, and many many more details. the Bible is not short on giving vast accounts on all these mysteries. The absence of space aliens is because there actually is an absence of space aliens. Sorry, the creation in the Bible is all you get
delusional. just ignore the existence of SO MANY THINGS that are absent from the Bible.
I just hope you're prepared to adjust your worldview in the face of new evidence. Bible isn't much good if you can't examine it with any intellectual honesty.
Why would I? The Bible is very clear on all things. Just because you’re not happy with what it says doesn’t mean I am. I am being very honest in saying that the Bible says exactly what all of creation exists in its entirety. Go to the end times. There will be a new heaven and a new earth (singular) where Gods throne will rest. There is no thought, mention, notion, concept, of anything outside heaven and earth. Sad to be a space man in far off Zebulon 5000 and God won’t even come visit you after the end of days on earth. He’s too busy spending it with His creation, on earth.
There simply aren’t space men, and I’m confused why you’re so riled up about that…🤔
I'm sorry but omission from the Bible is not evidence that
anything doesn't exist. Just because it speaks of the nature of existence in general, does not mean it contains everything that exists. it clearly leaves many things in existence unmentioned. pretending it says anything else might lead to some pretty severe shock.
edit: to be fair, your confusion about the usage of the terms 'heaven' and 'earth' in the Bible is understandable.
'earth' refers to the gross, dense, material realm, while 'heaven' refers to the subtle. so indeed, nothing in existence is outside of 'heaven' or 'earth', for that definition is truly all-encompassing.
and in no way does it exclude any of our neighbours in space.
Sorry, you’re stretching to include something you want. There is clear definition between earth, heaven, and other celestial bodies, which include the sun, moon, stars, and planets. You’re extremely disingenuous to try and lump earth and other celestial bodies together and label them “earth” when the Bible has clear definitions between them.
This is the very definition of eisegesis, to place interpretation into the Bible rather than draw from it.
