I once saw 6 bikers storm into a bar and start pushing people around and taking over the place. Just two guys, grabbed pool cues and started fighting back. Within seconds, two more jumped in. Even though it was 6 on 4, because the 4 were holding their own for just one minute, 10 more guys jumped in fighting the bikers. Within half an hour, all six bikers were sent to the hospital in handcuffs.
I like this experience for a couple reasons.
One, it shows the power of courage in personal situations like this
But for two, and this is the bigger one for me, it acts as an analogy of our power on the world stage.
When we unify, it's over. Once we decide to stop playing their game en masse, their power evaporates... but it was never truly there in the first place. What we have here is an illusion of power.
The power lies with us, as it always has. That is the source of their hatred of us.
And their hatred stems from fear because what a power we have.
