Just to be the devils advocate, I am an Amazon Prime member (puke, I know) but I'm in the same financial situation as many others and there are some perks for baby stuff on a subscription that I really need in order to remain above water.
That being said, I receive several packages from Amazon a month and literally every one of them still comes in a cardboard box. Of course this is purely anecdotal, but if Amazon has been making an effort to not use cardboard, it certainly hasn't occurred where I live.
Unfortunately in my neck, I've gotten a lot of smaller stuff lately in those plastic shipping envelopes. A lot of that stuff was small electronics that should have been shipped a lot better than they were.
Yup. and when I looked this up and I saw giant efforts by Amazon to use less cardboard.

Critical thinking would require you to ask what other than reduced demand could be causing this?
I have an idea. One that I have noticed in the way packages get shipped to my building.
I used to love zerohedge early days. Tons of actionable financial news, but about 10 years ago it became very aggressive with the fear porn.
