I don't discount the possibility; space is a very big place. However, I am familiar with tech that would generate the observed performance capabilities. One thing that makes me wonder: why no observations of a craft arriving or departing Earth? I think the odds are greatest for Earthlings visiting from the future or more likely just unmanned tech from the future.
