I was sitting on my back porch enjoying this beautiful day. A voice, or like I usually say, God said to me Mark 4:15, please share it.
I went to a Catholic Church for 58 years. We never read the Bible or studied the Bible. I don't have verses memorized.
I have been learning through a non denominational church how to read and study the Bible.
Verse:
Mark 4:15
New International Version
15 Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.
How appropriate in today's world.

15 Some have in fact already turned away to follow Satan.
You should be reading the King James version otherwise you'll be reading a perverted bible.

Right on brother! Only the KJV is authorized. Saved by the blood! Amen! The gospel of salvation, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Time is short, we are in a high watch time for the next couple months.

The KJV is hard to understand.
That is what satan and the evil ones would have you believe. You are off to a bad start when you pick up a perverted translation. Do yourself and the Lord a favor and use a King James Bible - ask Him to help you understand it as you read it - He is very willing to help you. But He has spoken out clearly about those that add and subtract from His Word:

I didn't pick the version the church uses it.
Find a different church that uses the King James version. Following the herd that are using a perverted translation will be no excuse in the eyes of God. He has been very clear about this matter. God bless you.
OK, just wanted to let you know I just ordered a KJV.

Great! Ask the Lord to help you understand it - He will. Find a church where they use only the KJV not a bunch of brain-washed lemmings that believe that the New-Age translations are no big deal. They will only drag you back into using the NIV bible because they feel nothing is wrong with it. Think for yourself - don't let their ignorance be your downfall. Eternity is a long time to be separated from the Lord. Serve Him whole-heartedly and honor Him by using an unadulterated Bible - you'll be glad you did.
Here's a little KJV-speak for you - Thou hast made a great decision today. God bless you and may He grant you clarity as you read your new KJV Bible. Stay the course.
