I didn't think he ever actually SAID anything. My closest friend at the time waxed poetical over how he "reminded her of JFK speeches". He never said anything. He spit out lots pretty words but I never heard anything of substance. Hope and change - OK - hope FOR WHAT and change TO WHAT?!?!?!?! is what my mind was screaming. Golden tongued snake is what he is.
