I went to a completely clean, unprocessed diet for 2 weeks as a cleanse.
For me, this meant a very simple diet of eggs and ham in the morning (no toast), a salad with olive oil for lunch, and a fatty meat with broccoli or other whole veggies for dinner. No sauces, dressings, or bread.
For dessert, higher fat greek yogurt with a little bit of raw honey or a banana (the only sugar I allowed myself - raw and unprocessed).
I felt amazing, my energy levels were super high, my appetite and cravings went away, and my skin problems were going away.
When the cleanse was over, I tried to have one of my first “fun” meal eating a McDonalds burger and fries and a shake. I couldn’t make it through the whole burger and only took a few sips of the shake, and I was fuller feeling than I ever had been before. My pulse started racing, and I realized what I had been doing to my body all this time.
Problem is, I convinced myself I needed “just a week or two” off the diet to have some fun, and since then I’ve been struggling to try it again.
But I know how real this is - processed sugar and food is a drug, and it poisons like one.
I also have since discovered Dr. Jason Fung’s books, and I highly recommend them. All about fasting and clean eating.
Now, my uncle is undergoing awful chemo next week for cancer that’s spread, and I’m trying to find whatever easily digestible resources I can to give to him, because I have little doubt that fasting plus a clean, unprocessed diet will do him wonders.
Joe Tippens Protocol. Tell him to jump on it NOW. Do not wait until it’s too late like many do. Many are curing themselves using it.
