Long ago and far away, I was in the USMC for 4 years. I remember participating in two exercises (training), one in Vieques, Puerto Rico, and one at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Both involved the Atlantic Naval Fleet and the Air Wing out of Cherry Point, NC, and us ground pounders and grunts from Camp Lejeune. They were pretty big exercises but I was never involved in, nor have I ever heard of, an exercise this large or this comprehensive. Maybe something IS afoot, I'll just wait and see....
Heh, yeah good luck with that. I filed (had throat cancer in 2013) but I doubt I'll ever see a penny. Oh well, I did my duty and am a better man because of it.
Agree...Air Force CSR...Was in PR for a Combined Exercise between Navy, Marines, Air Force and Army...Pretty interesting stuff BUT I do agree that 6 components and 22 time zones...

Thanks for your service, fren.
My brother from another mother, I was USMC proud from '80 to '86. I'm still waiting for my Camp LeJeune water settlement. Watch the water. LOL

Yes sir, my statement was more tongue-in-cheek.
No worries, fren, we're all in this together. As you were and carry on.
That's when my brother was in the USMC.
