I wonder if Russia would give these farmers asylum? They have skills that Russia can use and Russia is the only place that I can see where white farmers are still valued. I really do not see how things are going to change in SA. The stage has been set and there is money behind this carnage and theft. If they do not get out, things are not going to end well for them. The world does not care because it does not fit the narrative.
My great grandparents left Russia before it all went to hell in a hand basket. They left farms and other property behind and got out with their lives. EVERYONE left behind perished. The only reason that I am here today is because they could read the handwriting on the wall. I understand wanting to keep land that has been in families for generations. But, it does not benefit anyone when you are buried in that land and there is no one left to inherit. Unless there is an effort to smuggle in arms so they can at least defend themselves, I do not see any other choice. They are not abandoning their country - their country already abandoned them.
Hi mac1221, just made a comment on that about an hour ago. Yes President Putin did invite South African farmers to move to the Russian Federation about 4 or 5 years ago and the offer still remains. Nice to see you around.
