The two scenarios are completely different and the times of occurance (dispensations) are also completely different. This is a known heresy but I cant recall what it's called
Heresy in the words of who.. Jesus was very clear in his message about harming children. And yes I personally believe the God of the Jews is not the God Jesus called father. He even told the Jewish leaders, you are of your father the devil.
Yea because the Pharisees didn't believe in YHWH they believed in their beliefs of YHWH. Are you saying that neither Jesus nor Isaiah or Jeremiah or Ezekiel or King David etc were praying to / referring to YHWH?
Jesus came with a message of love, the God of the Jews is clearly a savage who is concentrating on domination over humanity using his “chosen”
As his tools to fulfill this goal. Q says it’s biblical for a reason…. Nothing in Jesus’s message matches the savagery of the Old Testament and that God. The only part of the New Testament is the parts that come after the gospel. And I believe that was entirely on purpose to bring back the idea that Jesus was the son of Yahweh and thus establishing the tribe as dominant once more. The gospel contradicts the nature of Yahweh in the Old Testament. The first canonical New Testament Bible was exactly about this.
There's a nuance to it, the relation of the OT and NT, but I'll let it go for now, not ready to debate but can you link me to the first canonical NT? never heard of this

When my children are misbehaving, I yell at them, and verbally and physically punish them.
When they are being sweet and kind, I buy them gifts, give them lots of physical and verbal love.
Am I two different entities?
Your argument does not prove your hypothesis.
