I think maybe five minutes of doing a little research could have saved him a lot of money and frustration. Electric vehicles certainly can not work in Canada given the temperature extremes.

Also I have watched too many videos of these things spontaneously combusting. If you are driving it when that happens you are fucked. If it happens at home it will burn your house down. No thanks.
