What if there’s an actually deadly disease they release, or some form of environmental disaster

Amidst the chaos, In order to receive the cure, food, water, supplies, they tell you the only way to medicate and distribute supplies to you and your loved ones is via an embedded chip?

If you want the cure, if you and your family want to live, will you take the chip or refuse? Hypothetical of course.
