You can bet they will "steer" these storms into major metropolitan areas if possible. The Air Force claimed that they would own the weather by 2000 (this was back in 1976) and then went silent about it. You can bet they are fine tuning their abilities. I don't think the FT Myers, FL hit last year was just bad luck and an act of nature.
