They see Mary as just a vessel and think Jesus was born as God, so He was all powerful and could do whatever He needed to do because He was God. They miss the entire point of His incarnation. Jesus came to earth as a human to live among us, as one of us, and teach us to do God's will here and bring salvation to the world. He allowed Himself to be crucified, as a human, to save us from our own sins. He didn't use any of His godly power to save Himself although He probably could have. He lived and died as a human.
