Watch The Crown (Netflix). .. don’t know if they embellished but they explain these two were sent away and listed as “dead” when Elizabeth became Queen, as they’re existence threatened the family and may have brought notice to the MANY mentally ill/handicapped offspring in her family line. Therefore projecting her to be an unfit ruler. Queen Lillibet’s sister Margaret discovered it after a visit to her shrink and asks Queen mum in one of the episodes. Very dark. Very very dark. Lots of creepy shit in that series
