Federal land must be returned to the people

Currently the federal US govt "owns" and controls vast amounts of territory in the USA. Now, as we wake up, we are realizing that the country has been conquered by a foreign power in DC that has a stranglehold on our resources. When/how do the people regain our land?

I agree. I would hate to see a mickie D's in the middle of Chaco canyon, NM or billboards along the rim of the grand canyon. Nothing wrong with all citizens being able to enjoy nature and wilderness. Just because we're into private land doesn't mean it all has to have a strip mall added to it.
