Their Ivermectin ban is haunting the FDA now. FDA is backtracking their statements claiming they didn't do anything wrong, but they did.

Thats the result of MSM propaganda. Though she is a pharmacist she should also know it comes in human use dosages. She couldnt think past the horsepaste noise.
By the way, I sometimes tell people: Do you ever take Pepto-Bismol? Did you know it was developed by a veterinarian for treating constipation in PIGS! But that's ok.
People have the same reaction when they find out that Warfarin was originally used as rat poison or that penicillin was originally made from mold.
I'm one of those Warfarin people. Any questions?
No questions from me. Are you saying that you are disturbed that that the original use was for rat poisoning? That was the point of my comment. There are people who warn others to not take Warfarin because its original use was to kill rats. It's usually the only thing they know about it, but they spread their lack of understanding to anyone else that doesn't know any better.
Warfarin is an affordable and easily reversible anticoagulant. Its anticoagulant activity is the mechanism for killing rats, and it was smart to apply it as a human anticoagulant. For a while, Warfarin was the only outpatient therapy available to people at risk for developing blood clots. It was affordable and easily reversible. The drawback is the requirement for a consistent amount of Vitamin K in the diet and regular, frequent blood testing to maintain a therapeutic dose, and interactions with nearly every other medication.
I started taking it in 2009. Four clots in lower left leg. Sometime between now and 2009, the clots dissolved. Still taking the stuff because the VA says I'm at risk of developing more clots. I think it's highly unlikely, but the thin blood keeps my heart cleaned out and prevents me from getting a stroke. I even quit taking it for a couple of weeks to see if I felt any different. No difference whatsoever. You know if those rats were to get their INR checked once in awhile and have their doses adjusted as necessary, they'd be just like me.
